Phi Launcher ("the App") is developed and maintained by Aryan Srivastava & Aryan Poonia ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App or purchase Phi Launcher Pro. Your privacy is our top priority.
1. Information We Collect
Our guiding principle is to collect the minimum amount of data necessary. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) that you don't explicitly provide.
a) Information You Provide Voluntarily
- For the Dev Panel feature, you may provide your LeetCode or Codeforces username. This is sent directly to those services' public APIs and stored locally on your device only.
- If you contact our support team, we collect the information you share in that communication (name, email, purchase details).
b) Anonymous Usage & Crash Data
- If you consent during the app's setup, we use Google Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated crash data (Crashlytics) to help us identify and fix bugs.
- This includes: device type, OS version, and the location of the crash in code. No personal data is included.
- This is optional. You can opt-out at any time from the app's permission screen or settings.
2. Phi Launcher Pro – Purchase & Payment
Phi Launcher Pro is available as a one-time purchase through this website, processed by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your payment information (card numbers, bank details). All payment processing is handled securely by Razorpay. After a successful payment, a license key or unlock token is associated with your purchase to verify Pro access within the app.

3. Permissions Requested
The App requests the following Android permissions solely to provide its features. All data processed for these features remains on your device unless specified.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
Required to display all installed apps on the home screen and in the app drawer.
READ_CONTACTS
Used to display contacts in the launcher for quick dialing (optional feature).
SET_WALLPAPER
Allows the launcher to change your device wallpaper from within the app.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Ensures Phi Launcher loads automatically when your device restarts.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
Used by the Digital Wellbeing features (App Launch Delay, Focus Mode) to track per-app usage.
INTERNET
Required by the Dev Panel to fetch public data from LeetCode and Codeforces APIs.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Keeps Focus Mode active in the background when a scheduled session is running.
com.android.vending.BILLING / CHECK_LICENSE
Facilitates in-app purchases and verifies Pro license ownership via Google Play.

4. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics): Anonymous crash reporting, if you provide consent.
- Google Play Billing & Licensing: To process in-app purchases and verify app licenses.
- Razorpay: To process Phi Launcher Pro purchases made through this website.
- Public APIs of LeetCode and Codeforces: Used only when you configure the Dev Panel.
5. Data Security
- All your personal settings, to-do lists, contacts, calendar events, and app data are stored locally on your device.
- We do not transmit your personal data to our servers.
- You are responsible for securing your device.
6. Children's Privacy
- The App is not directed toward children under 13.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
